Clara Mdlalose has been in the event management industry since 2001 and is a certified PCO (Professional Conference Organizer) under SAACI (the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry.
She is fluent in English, Afrikaans, isiZulu and Northern Sotho. Clara is the former Director of PR and Events at the Protea Hotels Limpopo, PRO for the First Lady’s Trust Fund Limpopo and the Fundraiser and Events Specialist for the Association of Midwives of South Africa where she produced many high-profile charitable events during her tenure at these organizations.
She has worked on an impressive portfolio of events ranging from government national events, gala events, conferences, sporting and cultural festivals ranging from 200 guests to a maximum of 16,000 guests.
Since 2013 LEC Events has developed a niche clientele in the Mining and Minerals events industry throughout the whole of South Africa with Anglo American Platinum as its largest client.
Clara’s understanding of the South African Public and Local Government Sector is thorough after producing over 68 government events in her career. She is passionate about producing high quality events that benefit the mining and minerals industry and their communities.
